Will it feel greasy?

No - tallow's remarkable similarity to human sebum allows it to absorb very easily and Natru's blend leaves a very pleasant satiny finish. It is our favorite part!

But will it smell like beef?

No, but it is fragrance free natural ingredients so it will have a pleasant neutral earthiness to it. It leaves no fragrance behind while it absorbs into your skin.

Does is suit my skin type? What about sensitive or acne-prone skin?

Absolutely. It is suitable for all skin types. Natru is hypoallergenic, free from synthetic chemicals, fragrances, and doesn’t clog pores! Safe for even the most sensitive skin.

Yes. Our products are formulated with natural, gentle ingredients, making them safe for use on children and during pregnancy. However, we always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before introducing new products during pregnancy.

How we started

Natru exists because we needed it.

I needed a moisturizer that actually worked. But the 9 product process sold so often wasn’t a fit for our lifestyle. And the generic, synthetic brands for men felt more toxic than helpful.

A friend showed me tallow: a simple, clean ingredient. But most products were homemade, low quality, or inconsistent.

So I partnered with a local lab in Illinois and the research began. We iterated on the formula adding a few ingredients to balance the texture, absorption, and benefits. Over the same year, I took variations of our formula heliskiing in Canada, dancing in the dust at Burning Man, to the top of Kilimanjaro in Africa, and surviving our usual harsh, dry Chicago winter.
